Ealing Shri Kanaga Thurkkai Amman Temple is a cherished Hindu temple and registered charity serving devotees in London and across the UK. Also known as Ealing Amman Temple, it has been a place of worship, faith, and community since 1991.

Dedicated to Shri Kanaga Thurkkai Amman, the temple welcomes devotees from all backgrounds to pray, celebrate, and connect through spiritual practice, tradition. It stands as a spiritual home for the Tamil Hindu community while welcoming all who seek peace, blessings, and divine grace.

To provide and sustain a sacred place of worship while advancing the Hindu religion according to the spiritual traditions of Sri Lanka and Tamil Nadu.

Founded on 10 August 1991, the temple began as a humble place of worship and has grown into one of the most recognised Hindu temples in the UK.

Key milestones include:

1991 — Temple founded at Harrow Honey Bond Hall
1991 — Relocated to Southall Shakelton Hall
1992 — Moved to Wembley Union Hall
1995 — Permanent temple premises acquired in Ealing
1999 — First Maha Kumbabishekam held
2011 — Second Maha Kumbabishekam celebrated

Today, the temple continues to serve thousands of devotees each year through daily worship, special poojas, and major annual festivals.
