Opportunity to Lead Ealing’s Iconic Amman Temple Chariot Festival
The Shri Kanaga Thurkkai Amman Temple in Ealing is pleased to invite established event management companies to submit an Expression of Interest (EOI) for organising the Amman Temple Chariot Festival on August 9, 2026.
This vibrant procession is one of West London’s largest outdoor cultural celebrations, drawing thousands of devotees, families, and visitors to witness the majestic chariot parade through Ealing’s streets. The festival is a cornerstone of the local Tamil Hindu community, blending centuries-old traditions with a spirit of inclusivity and community.
What We’re Looking For
We need a professional partner with proven expertise in delivering:
– Large-scale outdoor events
– Street processions with crowd management and road closures
– Multicultural festivals respecting religious protocols
– Health & safety compliance (risk assessments, emergency planning)
– Community engagement and volunteer coordination
Your team will handle end-to-end delivery, including:
– Route planning and liaison with Ealing Council & Metropolitan Police
– Stage management, sound systems, and cultural performances
– Waste management and environmental considerations
– Security, first aid, and accessibility provisions
